Atty. Castaneda’s dedication to public service and law was the catalyst to her pursuing her law degree after UCLA. She attended UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. In her last year of law school, she was selected to study at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands concentrating in both international criminal and business laws.
After 10 years as a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles, she opened her law firm, specializing in criminal defense and civil litigation. She is a board member of the Philippine American Bar Association and is an active community leader.
